THE S.O.G. CREW PRESENTS ‘LET YOUR FIRE FALL YOUTH CAMP’ 2011 – CAMP UPDATE!

May 27, 2011 – Hi Everyone! Thank you for your interest in joining us for this year’s youth camp in the mountains of Big Bear October 7th-9th! This year Let Your Fire Fall Ministries and The S.O.G. Crew have been led by God to do something for the youth that is more relevant in these present times in reaching towards the future of media, hip hop, and urban culture; but most importantly reaching toward the Christian foundation of the Word, worship, prayer and fellowship. We will be hosting fun activities, workshops, guest speakers, believing for revival and a life-changing experience that all can take home to share! We present to you 3 Days and 2 Nights of ‘Let Your Fire Fall Youth Camp’ with The S.O.G. Crew!

All Campers will receive an S.O.G. Crew T-Shirt and New Album ‘Where Legends Are Born’!

Guest Speakers include:

• Noel G – A big screen actor who has been seen in films such as Bruce Almighty, Fast N Furious, Training Day and many others! He will be speaking on his life and testimony of being saved by God and finding his calling in acting.
• Professor Clyde Rivers, PhD – He is the Latin International Commissioner for Latin University of Theology and the Honorary Ambassador of Republic of Burundi Africa. He enjoys teaching and encouraging youth in the Word of God to take charge of their faith in God, dream big, and pursue world changing ideas.
• Dr. Robert ‘Battle Ax’ Ornelas – Overseer of The S.O.G. Crew. He carries Honorary Doctorates in Divinity, and Arts and Worship; is an Ambassador to the Navajo Nation and Honorary Patriarch to the Athabascan Tribe of Alaska. As being an ordained Evangelist with a love for media and music, he enjoys teaching based on the Word of God and his own life drawn experiences from traveling across the nation, making music, films and serving under our Mighty Father in Heaven.
• Melissa Ornelas – Overseer of Let Your Fire Fall Ministries, wife to Dr. Robert Ornelas and mother of two, she enjoys serving the people and encouraging women through the Word of God with testimony and prayer. She will be guest speaker of the women’s group.

Workshops include:

• Graffiti – Hosted by Zender1, Los Angeles’ #1 Artist/Muralist/Graffiti expert! He has painted many murals in the Los Angeles County and taught many the art of graffiti using The Word of God. Those interested in participating are encouraged to bring clothes that you can get paint on.
• BBoy/Break Dancing – Hosted by veteran breaker, Buda, Founder of Ruffnex Cali. There will be an experienced dancer teaching the youth to dance different moves and enlighten the youth on God centered dancing. Participants are encouraged to bring clothes to dance in.
• Deejay-ing – Hosted by DJ Siren of The S.O.G. Crew and DJ Double Edge. Youth will be taught the ways of deejaying and encouraged towards God focused use of music and technique.
• Media – Hosted by Luminous V. of The S.O.G. Crew. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops for activities and lessons in marketing and promotions using photography and video. Team will be putting together a video of the camping trip for presentation on last day of camp.
• Song Writing – Hosted by Lil’ Battle Ax of The S.O.G. Crew. Youth will be taught the art of song writing and create their own songs.

There will be worship and music both nights of camp; one including music by Imisi and The S.O.G. Crew, Esther Escobedo and others.

Anaheim, CA — The S.O.G. Crew and Let Your Fire Fall Ministries presents the ‘Let Your Fire Fall Youth Camp’! In the more than eight years of hosting the LYFF Youth Crusade in the beloved City of Anaheim, CA, The S.O.G. Crew will be hosting a new camp style gathering in the month of September! Filled with God, Family, Worship and Fun, the event is being taken up the mountain to Big Bear at a place where everyone will have the chance to get closer to God! The camp will be 3 Days and 2 Nights of workshops focusing on God, Family, Urban, Media, Arts and Worship, Team and Confidence Building directed by Dr. Robert ‘Battle Ax’ Ornelas! There will be special guest speakers, performances, fun activities, games, worship and revival! You will have the opportunity to fellowship with youth and families from all over the country! THE S.O.G. CREW AND ‘EL PUEBLO’: HELPING CHILDREN HEAL, LEARN AND GROW

May 2, 2011 – One of The S.O.G. Crew’s strongest attributes is their willingness to help children and youth find hope in their day to day lives using music and the testimony of their lives. During their latest album release tour, they made an exclusive stop to one of Colorado’s Adolescent Treatment Communities for at-risk youth, El Pueblo, on April 13th, 2011. El Pueblo, together with Soul’d Out Creations, hosted an anti gang/drug/violence concert for the students. The Staff were encouraged to participate and dance just as the students themselves were! The outcome was encouraging for both the staff and students who didn’t know what to expect of their first private concert! The following is a letter written to The S.O.G Crew and other supporting organizations after the visit. The S.O.G Crew is honored to be a part of helping construct the future lives of the students at El Pueblo.

“El Pueblo is reaching out to the youth of Pueblo through our community-based, non-residential services and strengthening families through integrated partnerships in the community. Now, more than ever before, El Pueblo is working closely with individuals, foundations, businesses, schools, courts, and other non-profits to maximize all of our efforts as we work to impact youth and families in our community. Because you care enough to take action and get involved at El Pueblo, the youth learn skills needed to live independently and successfully as adolescents and then adults. Time management skills, study skills, independent living and transitional skills, teamwork and self reliance, character development, and community awareness. THE S.O.G. CREW REACHES OUT TO THE PROJECTS OF LAS VEGAS ON A ‘HOLY HIP HOP DAY IN THE PARK’

April 29th, 2011 – His Hands Ministry hosts their 3rd Annual ‘Holy Hip-Hop Day in the Park’ on Sunday April 9th 2011 and partners with California based hip hop ministry, The S.O.G. Crew. Pastor Brady, Senior Pastor of His Hands Ministry, has been reaching out the projects of Las Vegas for years and annually hosts a day in the park where he provides FREE food, hip-hop, prayer, low rider car show and free bicycle repair’s for all the youth and families. And is usually supported by other local ministries such as: Guerilla Cross, Sons of God Biker Crew and other Car Club Ministries. This year it was the second stop on S.O.G Crews’ Where Legends are Born CD release Tour when revival broke out. Children and families came together asking for prayer, all longing for something greater; God! Dr. Robert “Battle Ax” Ornelas spoke words of hope and encouragement into the lives of the community in Vegas, stating that Vegas is a blessed city and so are the people in it.

THE S.O.G. CREW AND ANGEL TREE COME TOGETHER THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON!

Hey Everyone! We’re excited to share about a new movement! We are helping out with this Season through Angel Tree Christmas. The program works by connecting parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts by a church or organization. We have now committed to over 50 children to sponsor. We will be delivering to the children on behalf of their incarcerated parent a package with gifts, pictures, music and a personal message from their parent of love and care. We will have multiple events where we will invite the child and their family to come and hang out and allow God’s people share the love of Christ with them this season. Interested in helping out? S.O.G. CREW ALASKA TOUR 2010 – COPPER CENTER VILLAGE

Last week, The S.O.G. Crew was invited out to Copper Center Village by the elders and Kathy Durham, a veteran mother-figure missionary to villages who came from Indiana, and together they made special visits to different houses in the village inviting them to Wednesday night’s concert at the Mt. Drum Lutheran Church. While on this mission to win hearts over to God, S.O.G. learned of the Athabascan culture and language. The Athabascan elders are fighting to keep their traditional culture of fishing alive in the hearts of their people by recreating and teaching their youth how to fish, hunt and gather their foods. The S.O.G. Crew visited with Chief Johnny Goodlataw at his fish camp in Tazlina where they seen firsthand a home-made fish wheel in action as it caught salmon swimming downstream and dumped them into a basket for keeping. The chief’s niece, Diane, taught the S.O.G. Crew first hand some of their language and culture as they went driving through the village to invite people out on Wednesday night. The concert was powerful and moving! Many people came and met God for the first time! Many were healed from childhood abuse. And many rededicated their hearts to God, vowing to turn their lives around and share with others what God has done! It was revival! God has won the hearts of all that night! The elders of the village were so moved and excited to see so many be touched that they are making more plans to continue the new found zeal for their people! And The S.O.G. Crew will be seeing Copper Center Village again! Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to seek more of God for themselves and for their village. DAY 28 OF INTERNET REVIVAL! GOD BRINGS MIRACLES TO PEOPLE’S LIVES

This day, Day 28 of Revival, God has made a new way to save his people; the Internet! This is the first time we have come to know God to do this, but, he saved people online this morning during prayer! People opened their hearts to receive Christ! Dr. Robert said, ‘He felt God was about to do something major’ when he began leading them on the chat box in prayer to receive Jesus while Luminous V worshipped. God truly can do the impossible! And things are only impossible because we haven’t opened our hearts to the full possibility that God can do anything. God is answering prayers quickly. BOAT ANGEL DONATES TO LET YOUR FIRE FALL MINISTRIES

What an amazing thing! To see one charitable organization helping out another! Every year, Boat Angel based in Arizona, has faithfully donated to one of their faithful partners, Let Your Fire Fall Ministries (LYFFM)! Each year, LYFFM holds their Let Your Fire Fall Youth Crusades in the city of Anaheim to give back to the community that supports them. Boat Angel is one of the Crusade’s sponsors as well as assists in some of LYFFM’s mission trips across the United States to Native American Indian Reservation Schools. And at sometimes when necessary, Boat Angel has even given a vehicle to the ministry so that they can continue to minister to the youth in California at schools, parks, churches and coffee houses to teach them positive ways to live their lives making wise choices. Boat Angel owner, Brian Stewart, has a big heart for people helping people. His organization takes in unused boats and sells them to give funds to widows, single mothers with children, and youth for educational scholarships, and a number of charities! LET YOUR FIRE FALL MINISTRIES’ DR. ROBERT ORNELAS TEACHES THE STUDENTS OF OSCAR DE LA HOYA HIGH SCHOOL

Dr. Robert Ornelas taught Oscar De La Hoya Students last Friday on ‘Making the Right Decisions’ that would lead to a successful quality of life. Fifty students under the instruction of Mr. Robert Pene (a.k.a. Mr. P) came into class early to hear more on life from a pioneer in music, evangelism, and technology. They had been studying the importance of sexual abstinence in their lives and to the greater community, and on how to manage their emotions and feelings. Mr. P brought in long time friend, Dr. Robert, to encourage the students as one who has been through much in life and has continued to make the right decisions leading him into a successful quality of life. Dr. Robert Ornelas will continue to teach students and youth about ‘Making the Right Decisions’ in schools and churches. LET YOUR FIRE FALL YOUTH CRUSADE 2009 BRINGS RESTORATION TO MANY

Thank you to our friends and family who came to our 7^th Annual Let Your Fire Fall Youth Crusade in Anaheim! God really came down and let his fire of restoration fall on many families, ministries and individuals who needed help. There were a couple hundred people inside the amphitheatre really enjoying the music, but outside in the park; were thousands! They were all listening in while testimonies and prayers were being made! The biggest miracle of all was with our friend, Mellow Man Ace, a Christian in the secular world crying out for more of God in his life. The whole Anaheim community for a mile radius could hear as he received a blessing from God. Mellow Man Ace said himself that God changed his heart and was blessed to just be able to bring his wife and children to an event he was performing at because he never has the opportunity in the world. He’s exact words after the show were, “Thanks for an amazing upliftment of a show. I really needed that prayer too. I am very thankful and feel very blessed already. MMA & Fam”. And to think, he almost didn’t come, but we compelled him! God truly came and restored his people and opened their eyes to a fresh, new, green start at life. Thank you everyone for praying for this event to take place and that people would be blessed by it.
